SECTION 1 — INTRODUCTION
Seraphim Quant LLC ("we," "us," "our," or "Seraphim Quant") is a software company based in Florida, United States. We sell trading software products, including S-23, through our website at seraphimquant.com (the "Site").
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information from visitors and customers of our Site. By accessing or using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
We are a software company. We are not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, commodity trading advisor, or financial institution. We do not manage your money or provide financial advice.
SECTION 2 — INFORMATION WE COLLECT
2.1 Information you provide directly
When you purchase a license to S-23 or any other Seraphim Quant product, we (through our payment processor) collect:
Name and email address
Billing address (city, state, country, postal code)
Payment information (credit card, PayPal, or other method — processed and stored exclusively by our payment processor; we never receive or store full payment details)
NinjaTrader Username — required to activate your license on the NinjaTrader Ecosystem
Tax-related information (country, state, VAT/GST identifier if applicable), required for our payment processor to comply with international tax laws
Consent and acceptance records — when you accept our agreements at checkout (Risk Disclosure, EULA, Terms, Refund Policy, and related consents), we record the date and time, your IP address, the version of each document accepted, and the related order, to evidence your agreement.
When you contact us via email at support@seraphimquant.com, we collect the contents of your message and your email address, which we use solely to respond to you.
2.2 Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, certain information is automatically collected through standard web technologies and analytics tools:
IP address (used to determine approximate geographic location, country, region, and city)
Browser type and version (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc.)
Operating system (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, etc.)
Device type (desktop, tablet, mobile) and screen resolution
Referring URL — the website or source that brought you to our Site
Pages visited, time spent on each page, and navigation patterns within the Site
Date and time of access
Language preferences
SECTION 3 — THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
We use the following third-party services to operate the Site and process transactions. These services have their own privacy practices governed by their respective privacy policies.
3.1 Lemon Squeezy (Payment Processor — Merchant of Record
All purchases on the Site are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as our Merchant of Record. This means Lemon Squeezy is the legal seller of record for the transaction and collects, processes, and stores all payment information on our behalf.
Lemon Squeezy receives your name, email, billing address, payment information, and tax-relevant data. They are responsible for international tax compliance (VAT, GST, sales tax) on each transaction.

3.2 Framer (Website Hosting
Our Site is hosted on Framer. As our hosting provider, Framer has access to standard server-level data including IP addresses, browser information, and access logs.

3.3 Google Analytics 4 (Web Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors interact with the Site.
GA4 collects information such as your IP address (anonymized in some regions), pages visited, time on site, referring source, browser, device type, and approximate geographic location. This information is used to generate aggregated reports that help us improve the Site and understand which content is most useful to visitors.
GA4 uses cookies and similar technologies. The data is processed by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy: policies.google.com/privacy

SECTION 4 — HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use the information we collect for the following purposes only:
1. Order fulfillment: to process your purchase, deliver your license, activate your NinjaTrader Ecosystem authorization, and provide associated services.
2. Customer support: to respond to your emails, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide assistance with licensed products.
3. Transactional communications: to send you receipts, license keys, activation confirmations, refund notifications, and other order-related information.
4. Legal and tax compliance: to comply with applicable laws, tax obligations, and respond to lawful requests from authorities.
5. Site improvement: to understand how visitors use the Site through aggregated analytics and improve its content, structure, and performance.
6. Fraud prevention: to detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions or unauthorized use of our products.
We do NOT use your information for:
Email marketing or newsletters
Selling or renting your data to third parties
Cross-platform advertising tracking via pixels (we do not currently use Meta Pixel, Google Ads Tag, or similar advertising trackers)
Automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects
If we expand our use of your data in the future (e.g., adding advertising pixels or email marketing), we will update this Privacy Policy and notify customers.
SECTION 5 — COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. We and our third-party service providers use cookies for the following purposes:
Strictly necessary cookies: required for the Site to function correctly (e.g., maintaining your language preference, session security). These cannot be disabled.
Analytics cookies: set by Google Analytics 4 to measure how visitors use the Site. These can be disabled (see Section 3.3).
Checkout cookies: set by Lemon Squeezy during the purchase process to maintain your cart and order information.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Note that disabling certain cookies may affect Site functionality.

Where applicable law requires consent for non-essential cookies (for example, for visitors in the EU/UK), the Site will request consent before such cookies are set.
SECTION 6 — DATA RETENTION
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, including:
Order and license records: retained for the duration of your active license plus a minimum of 7 years afterward, as required by U.S. tax and accounting regulations.
Consent and acceptance records (click-wrap logs — timestamp, IP, document versions): retained for at least 5 years to evidence agreement.
Support communications: retained for up to 3 years after the last interaction.
Analytics data: retained according to Google Analytics 4 default retention settings (typically 14 months for event data).
After the applicable retention period, your data is deleted or anonymized.
SECTION 7 — DATA SHARING AND DISCLOSURES
We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only with:
1. Service providers identified in Section 3 (Lemon Squeezy, Framer, Google Analytics), strictly as needed for them to perform their services.
2. Legal authorities when required by law, court order, subpoena, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our customers or others.
3. Business transfers: in the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, customer data may be transferred to the acquiring party. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
SECTION 8 — INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
Seraphim Quant is based in the United States. Our third-party service providers (Lemon Squeezy, Framer, Google) operate servers and process data in various countries, primarily the United States and the European Union.
If you are located outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. These jurisdictions may have data protection laws that differ from those of your country.
By using the Site, you consent to such international transfers.
SECTION 9 — YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
Right to access: request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
Right to correction: request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
Right to deletion: request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal retention obligations (e.g., tax records).

9.1 GDPR (European Union residents
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Our legal basis for processing your information includes: (1) contractual necessity (to fulfill your purchase), (2) legal obligations (tax, fraud prevention), (3) legitimate interests (Site analytics, security), and (4) consent (for cookies that are not strictly necessary).
You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
9.2 CCPA (California residents
If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information.
We do not sell personal information.
9.3 Other U.S. state privacy laws
If you are a resident of a U.S. state with a comprehensive consumer privacy law — including, as applicable, the Florida Digital Bill of Rights, and the privacy laws of Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, Utah, and other states as they take effect — you may have rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of your personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising, the "sale" of personal information, and certain profiling. We do not sell personal information, do not engage in targeted advertising, and do not conduct profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. SECTION 10 — SECURITY
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include:
HTTPS encryption for all Site traffic
Payment information processed by PCI-DSS compliant providers (Lemon Squeezy)
Limited access to customer data, only by authorized personnel
Regular review of security practices
However, no system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.
SECTION 11 — CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The Site is not directed to children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete such information.
SECTION 12 — THIRD-PARTY LINKS
The Site may contain links to third-party websites (e.g., NinjaTrader, social media platforms). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites. We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of any third-party site you visit.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, services, or legal requirements. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this document indicates the most recent revision.
If we make material changes (such as adding advertising pixels, expanding data collection, or sharing data with new categories of third parties), we will notify active customers via email and post a prominent notice on the Site.
Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
